Log/Pic 86 The Cayman Islands

Our third stop this summer was the Cayman Islands. We had been there before not had not dove "The Wall."
This was our 2nd dive-a ship wreck with a Buddha!
And a bicycle-note the diver riding the bicycle.
Sea anemememeneanee
Lionfish-now all over the caribbean.
Sponges
And of course turtles.
I never get sick of seeing them.
The sadness of a safety stop-I never want to surface.

Log/Pic 85 Jamaica

So my 2nd stop this summer was Jamaica.
We took a long walk thru the woods to check out the green.
Our path
great views
great flora
cool ivy and moss covered trees
camo bark
thatched huts
haliconia
finally made it too the zip lines of the jungle
There is one of us in the middle of the picture.
The guides had "Me Tarzan" or "Me Jane" shirts on.

This small connector zip line went almost strait down. It was the shortest and lowest to the ground, but the scariest!
Enjoying a Red Stripe after the adventure was over.

Log/Pic 83 Honda VTX 1300

So I got a new motorcycle this summer. It's a Honda VTX 1300. Biggest bike I ever had and definitely big enough for long road trips. I will add windshield and saddlebags so it's suited for them too-but for now I'm enjoying the power and the wind on my face...and body!

My nieces, Julia and Olivia, enjoy it too!

Log/Pic 82 Adirondacks

So I saw a wood duck in a tree on the way to work.
After work I packed up my Jeep and kayak and headed to the Adirondacks.
I slept in my Jeep the first night after kayaking some cool lakes. It was not exactly as roomy as my truck. It was the only night I spent in it.
I saw lots of beaver lodges, but no beavers.

Saw red fox on my way home...along with a beaver on the side of the road.
